Congrats to MAFLT Graduates in Spring 2025!
On May 2. 2025, our campus came alive with celebration as graduates from our online master’s program traveled from across the country to participate in MSU’s Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony.

After years of remote classes, late-night discussions across time zones, and Teams mentoring meetings, they traveled to East Lansing to walk across the stage and mark the culmination of their academic journeys. Blair Richardson (French), Letitia Wang-Moore (Chinese), and Haley Rooney (Spanish) joined us in person with their families to celebrate their achievements.
We as faculty were especially thrilled when we have a chance to meet our students face-to-face.
These moments underscore the deep connections formed during the program, even at a distance.
While the majority of the graduating cohort was able to attend, we also want to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of Yue Yang (Chinese), who couldn’t be with us physically.
